MonthlySommelier provides delivery within Canada for wine gifts, wine gift baskets, and wine subscriptions. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s address, product selection, subscription details, and applicable delivery requirements.
We prepare and coordinate orders based on recipient address, product eligibility, alcohol-related delivery requirements, routing, fulfillment availability, and delivery partner availability. Available delivery information, delivery options, fees, and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout.
Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, subscription update, cancellation, or other adjustment should contact customer service as early as possible through the contact methods listed on this website.
Once an order has shipped, or once preparation, fulfillment, subscription processing, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
MonthlySommelier offers delivery across Canada. Same-day delivery may be available for eligible wine gifts within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the Greater Vancouver Area. Availability is confirmed during checkout based on product selection and delivery address.
Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by MonthlySommelier. Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, carrier performance, alcohol-related delivery requirements, and operational capacity.
Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries typically occur during standard business hours where possible.
Deliveries may require adult signature, age verification, valid identification, recipient availability, or additional delivery steps because orders contain wine. Delivery requirements may vary by product, delivery location, recipient location, courier, carrier, delivery partner, or applicable law.
Orders may be delivered to a recipient, building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate and permitted by applicable delivery requirements.
Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.
Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, gated communities, and managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, or another building-approved receiving point where permitted by applicable delivery and alcohol-related requirements.
Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, recipient phone number, building instructions, buzzer code, access instructions, and any other information needed for delivery.
If a building, office, institution, or managed property does not allow direct delivery to the recipient, delivery may be completed according to that location’s receiving procedures where permitted.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.
Some addresses within Canada may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds due to product eligibility, delivery routing, alcohol-related requirements, courier availability, carrier availability, recipient location, or service-area limitations.
If an address requires additional delivery coordination or fees, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.
Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, failed age verification, lack of required adult signature, unsafe conditions, alcohol-related restrictions, or circumstances outside our control.
MonthlySommelier prepares wine gifts, wine gift baskets, and wine subscriptions based on the product selected, recipient details, delivery address, subscription schedule, and delivery availability shown during checkout.
Subscription deliveries may be processed according to the selected subscription frequency and renewal schedule. Customers are responsible for keeping subscription billing details, delivery addresses, recipient information, delivery instructions, and contact information accurate and current.
MonthlySommelier is not responsible for missed, delayed, or failed subscription deliveries caused by outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate customer or recipient information.
Because wine availability can change, substitutions may be made when necessary. In all cases, we ensure the overall selection style, value, and intent of the gift are maintained, using our judgment to deliver a balanced and thoughtfully prepared wine experience.
Wine substitutions may occur because of supplier availability, vintage changes, delivery timing, product availability, regional restrictions, fulfillment requirements, or other operational factors. Due to product availability, delivery timing, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.
MonthlySommelier sells wine only. Delivery of wine is subject to applicable federal, provincial, territorial, local, and other applicable laws depending on the delivery destination.
Age verification, adult signature, valid identification, recipient availability, and additional delivery requirements may apply where required. Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, invalid identification, or local delivery requirements may not be eligible for refund, replacement, credit, or re-delivery.
Wine may not be available for delivery to certain addresses, locations, recipients, or jurisdictions where prohibited or restricted by applicable law, delivery partner rules, carrier requirements, or service availability.
Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic, carrier disruptions, courier delays, labor disruptions, holidays, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, transportation network issues, alcohol-related restrictions, or service interruptions.
We are not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our control.
